Default Shocks

I have a 99 honda civic si and i just got my springs the other day but yet to install them until i get my shocks too. I was going to get koni shock but alot of people told me that those shocks don't go well with the spoon springs.i also heard that stock shocks were the best shocks for spoon springs.i was wondering if anyone can give me a clue on which brand of shocks will fit my car and springs the best?
