Default Shock question??!!

hey guys/gals.....im runnin some ractive coilovers and tokico blues.....i don't really know how low my car is...all i know is that i have about a finger of space between the tire and the fender in the rear and the front is flush with the wheel......is that to low you think???? Well now to my question how can i tell if my shocks are blown.....im asking this because i have had this setup for only about 6 months, and for some reason it feels different from the day i put them on......i liv in MD/DC/VA area and there is some potholes i miss and some i hit, and i have bottomed out in the front a couple of times......will that blow my shocks???? from what i heard the blues are basically like stock shocks, is that true??.....any help would be appreciated...thanks in advance..

See if the shocks are leaking out oil.
