This **** is Fuc*ed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today around 5:00pm. I was in a small town for easter and I have no idea where anything is. I filled up on gas and then trying to find the Highway. Trying to find it going through residential areas. It had so dips and hills, nothing I can't handle. But the last bump that I went to was the last. I totally bottomed out. It was like going down a roller coaster with my car. Just to damm steep. I braked but that wasn't enough. The fu%$&^ air bags engaged and the damm front bottom end was slightly messed up. I was only going 25-30 mph. Power steering was gone and headlight alignment was messed up. But no front bumper damage at all just the under body. Those people need to put signs up. I'm taking it to the dealership, Those airbags shouldn't have been deployed. This easter was probably the worst I have had

yes they should've. if you read the little booklet that goes along with the owner's manual it'll tell you that hitting big bumps hard can deploy the airbags, at least that's what it said in my sister's 99 civic thingy. the dealer won't do anything about it, it's your fault. if you have a 92-95 you can easily find airbags for around 150 bucks on ebay. for 96-00 they'll be around 300-400. be sure to replace the control module too, because they're a one time use thing as well.

was the road like that because of construction or something?
this happened to my friend in his EK.
there was road construction and he his a nasty bump. airbags went off, windshield broke...
i'm pretty sure the city paid for it. i'm not 100% but it sucked.
thats why i disconnected mine. nothing but bad has come out of airbags in my crew. they always do more damage to the driver than the crashes in these cases.

if you got into a head on collision at 55 mph you wouldn't be around to share it if you didn't have airbags. they do more good than bad if you've ever been in a high speed crash.

whats the speed limit in a residential area....15-25mph not sure
i wish my block had dips and speed bumps...on my block theres got to be at least 20 kids between the ages of 2-14 that spend there afternoons running around the streets not lookin both ways before crossing...and so many dumb ****( not saying your one) drive down the street doing around 20 to 30 mph witch may not seem fast but try stopping your car when a little kid pops out from behind a SUV or somethin on his bike....ive stopped many dumb ***** at the end of my block and cursed them out for this reason..pisses me off cause i have 2 brothers that play on the street all day after school
slow down but sorry to hear that

Ouch. I never knew hitting a bump would cause that.
Post some pics of the road. Also, maybe you can help others in your area by telling them where this happened.
