Default shiftlinkage question

what shift linkage do u use on a 4door eg if u wanted to do a b-series swap? is is the same as if it were a 2dr,3dr eg? i seen a really cheap 4door for sale and was thinking about getting it and dropping a b-series then turbo it. i've worked on hatchs and coupe's before so i understand the swap just have a ?? bout linkage.
