Shifting Problems
1st - When I first start up the car, I'll have to push the clutch in all the way for it to even engage. After I drive for a bit, it engages at the normal place (I don't know what else you would call it), right about halfway or so pushed in.
2nd - When I shift into reverse, I sometimes get a slight grinding, even though it shouldnt be. This just happens once in awhile... Anyone know what's going on or can give me any advice? Thanks. -Matt |
Re: Shifting Problems (gleinz)
Ur first problem used to happen when my clutch started to get messed up. Once I changed it it went away.
2nd happens from time to time but a mechanic said it was normal. |
Re: Shifting Problems (gleinz)
#1 = leaky slave or clutch cylinder. OR the fact that the brake fluid in the clutch system has NEVER been changed.
