shifter stabilizer bushings...eg2
Ok, been thinking about getting energy suspension motor mounts...wheel hop is my biggest complaint about this car, its really bad. Think these will help?
3rd gear grinds whenever I shift fast at a high rpm in 2nd, people have said the motor is moving around too much.
Would a "Manual Transmission Shifter Stabilizer Bushing Set" help this as well?

These will help but a traction bar will help much more.
Syncros are shot.
No.

replace the rear tranny mount or use the ES inserts, also check the shifter bushings on the tranny.
Your engine is moving around on the high rpm shifts.
But what do I know????

I have the motor mount inserts, myself, with my d15b7, and i say there not too bad to install, but I never have put the one on the rear of the motor, it took me about 2 hrs. and couldnt get to it ( on the floor in my gurage ), but even with only two of the three, for thirty something dollars, i think its a great upgrade for the money, and traction did improve noticeably
