Default Shifter Question

Ran a search and found nothing.

Would an aftermarket short shifter made for 94-01 Integras fit on a 99 EX? Would the linkage have to be changed for an Integra one or will the stock Civic one work?

Depends what short shifter you have. I'm running a Skunk2 dual bend SS. It for both 92-00 civics and 94-01 integras.

me too I'm running the skunk2 dual bend and it says it's for both 92-00 and 94-01 integras. B&M is the same way too.

i know that a gsr shifter wont fit on a del sol vtec shift linkage b/c the bottom portion of the shifter that bolts onto the shift linkage is too fat for the del sol vtec shift linkage.

depends what tools are in your tool box.
I have used gsr shifters in ex, ex shifters in gsr, if theres any mods its cutting a small peice off the bottom with a hacksaw for one or using a washer or shim to make it fit on the other.

Whats a shifter cost anyhow to get the right one? you can buy those things at the movie theater now adays, they just come with johhny tran's signature from the fast and delerious.
