Default Shifter Bushing Kit Install Question

Hey guys, i have a 2000 civic and my shifter bushing is in need of replacement.
Is there a particular one that is better than others? I have never dealt with this before so am not sure. Also is this something i can do in my driveway or should i take it to a shop?

Thanks

I use Prothane shifter bushings with my stock shift lever. Works great. The feeling is a bit notchier than stock, but shifting also doesn't feel as sloppy and imprecise. Only cost me $12 from my local shop.

It's pretty easy. Just need some finger muscles. All you do is take out the old ones and press the new ones in.

Best bang for the buck.

i have energy bushings and i prefer oem bushings i replace mine for the same reason but i regret it. It feels more siff like the shifting is more firmness.
