Did you just install a short shifter? If so, you're shifter/linkage is probably hitting the exhaust pipe.

Try to crawl underneath your car where the shifter is and take a look at it for yourself. If it looks like its hitting or touching the exhaust pipe then you can either have an exhaust shop lower your exhaust for you to get some clearance or the ghetto way like i did https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif I put the rubber exhaust hanger right in between the two hooks and just zip-tied it in place. Been working fine for me and its been a little over a month https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Mine does this too. It moves about 1.5- 2 inches left to right, front to back while in gear. I believe it is worn bushings. These can be changed easily and bought for like 15$. Did it on my old teg, just havent gotten to it yet on this car.

If you're shifter moves around while in gear, it's because you dont have enough bushings/o-rings in between the spot where your shifter connects to your linkage. Crawl underneath your car and and try to move your shifter around. If you see a gap at where it connects to the linkage, then put some bushings or o-rings in there. Problem solved https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
