Shifter for 00 civic
hello all, i have a y8 motor and i just bought a z6 tranny with a 00 si shifter. does this fit into the tranny?? im not too sure because the si is a B series and mine is D series?

I don't know about OEM, but most aftermarket shifters are the same part number between D and B series. I'm running the same B&M shifter on a B16 tranny that I ran on a y8 tranny, and it shifts perfectly.
I think it'll work. The rest of the linkage will NOT work, but the shifter should swap D/B series.

yea OEM shifters are differnt, but i think the aftermarket ones are the same since the d series is smaller companys just include washers to space them for b series
