shift lite wire
i have an auto-neter shift lite w/rpm pil need help re wiring. i had it at the end of the distributer on one of fthe white wires. i was wondering if the wire plugs after the fire wall the looks like the v-tech switch is the same and if i could connect there instead of running a wire under the intake manifold.

maybe i should have searched the archive but i real need help. im going autox next manth at firebird and could us some help .still have ls block need to get rid of...is it worth a racing seat????????/

for the shift light, under the hood on the driver side to the left of the clutch master cylinder there is a single wire inside of a rubber connector... thats a tach signal wire...

sorry was trying to get rasponse b4 dark.i checked wher the single wire was but the opnly single wire was a blue/white wire with silver band. is this it or the many wires in the silver plug next to the clutch resevour.

its the single wire that is in the holder on that black bracket that the cruise control canister is also attached to.
