Shift linkage too short? (b16a in 99 ex)
Ok so I have a b16a in a 99 ex coupe, the shifter was pretty loose in gear and when I looked under the car I found out that it was the part of the linkage where it's pinned the the tranny.
I replaced the shift rod with one from an Si (thought it would be exactly the same) but it seems as if it is too short; 1st 3rd and 5th are really far forward and 4th looks like neutral.
Any idea why this is? would any integra linkage be slightly longer than Si linkage so it fits properly?
Thanks.

I Would just need to know what B series linkage is actually longer than EM1 linkage.
I cant seem to find any info on this.

Hmm, well then I wonder what kind of linkage was on my car before (bought it swapped already).
Maybe I can get a dual bend integra shifter and see it it makes it better.

Well that could be possible, but I ordered it new from 1sthondaparts.com after I checked the part # for 99-00 Si shift linkage. So I would think it's actually linkage for a EM1.
