that should work just fine if they sent you the shif linkage from that motor? Most USDM linkages will not fit on a JDM motor. They will require a rubber bushing that fits over that lil shaft thing, then has the bolt and washers to work. The USDM's are just a bolt that goes into a threaded hole. Yea my descriptions are bad. but i'd think u should be golden. They are messed up if they sent the wrong shift linkage. I'd double check. Take pics if u can. I'll do my best to help. Show where it doesnt fit if possible

Actually the del sol shift linkage is longer then the hatchback's for some reason.
