Shift linkage/shifter bolt size

Whats the bolt size that holds the shift linkage/shifter up right above the exhaust. I'd take a bolt out and take it to a hardware store but theres only one bolt holding it in right now. m6?m8?

i rember changing my shifter, and all the bolts were either 10 or 12mm
