shift linkage problems.
I have a 93 civic coupe and just dropped in a jdm b16a about 3 weeks ago. Car runs great but the shift linkage is too long and the stick is pushed up pretty far. I can still hit every gear but its just annoying. I tried using the d15 linkage but that wont fit. I think i have to cut it but before i do that i want to know if anyone else had the same problem and what they did to fix it.

How "too long" is it? Did you install it on the transmission correctly?

Re: shift linkage problems. (BauleyCivic)
im guessing somewhere around an inch too long. where 2nd, 4th, and reverse gear is should be neutral. and where neutral is should be 1st, 3rd and 5th. Im positive the tranny is installed right
