shift light???
Ive heard that I could connect my shift light to either my distributor (blue wire), cluster (i think that wire is blue too, correct me please), and the ecu(dont really want to tap into there )
Will a connection to the distributor give me a more accurate reading than the cluster, i heard that the cluster is like 100 rpm off....please help...i do not want to tear apart my car.....

Re: shift light??? (SpoonSportsEH2)
i probably didnt give a good description...i just bought an autometer pro-shift light....and i just wanted to know where would be a good hook up point for the green wire..... that would give me the most accurate rpm signal, the cluster (i have an EX cluster in there, which is off by like 100 rpm's) or the distributor......please help......the red and black wire is self explanitory........

Re: shift light??? (speedaholic92)
you could hook it up anywhere, it will all yield the same results, the thing about the cluster wire being 100 rpm off, never heard of it, its just that the stock cluster, is inaccurate, nothing to do with the wire.

Best place to tap the wire is near the front driver strut tower, you can run the wires through the grommet hole right near it on the firewall, makes for a seamless looking and pro install... I will try and post pics of the install I did today the exact same way on my EG... let me know if your interested.
