Default Shift light

alright i was lookin on ebay and i was thinkin about buying a tach with a shift light but i really dont really want a 5inch tach on the side. so i found this on ebay.

it said its a shift light that you can just plug in you cigarette adaptor.. dose anyone or have used one of these if so give me some feed back. i'm very curious on this cuz i havent seen anything like this a pulg and play shift light?

ummm well... The shift setting ****, no numbers? I guess you would set it by revving to the desired rpm and turning the **** until it lights up... I guess it would run off the sound? Doesn't sound too accurate... I know the G-tech or whatever thing, one of them "knows" your rpm without being connected to anything, I'm assuming by sound also.

I wouldn't buy it, not for 45, just do it the right way.

Haha.... Altezzaworld...lol. I really don't see the point of shift lights on a non drag car. Maybe if it was only for on the drag strip, but even then. Honestly the split second it takes to look down to see the rpm's is really not that long and/or hard. I hate daily drivers with ricey shift light's, but if you must then atleast get a rice; I mean nice one.
