Default Shift fork setting pin different??

Im gathering parts I need for auto to manual and the fork I got had a bad setting pin.
I ordered a new one from honda, got it today but its bigger, instead of going like the old one it flips and goes the other way.
It still locks in right, did honda remake the style of it? Should it still work properly without issues?

OLD Setting pin

NEW Style setting pin.

I've got a release fork sitting on the bench for a Z6 tranny, i'll check tomorrow and see what it looks like. If it clips on ok and doesn't bind it should be fine though.

I installed the new setting pin from honda on the tranny today. (92-95 tranny)
Works exactly the same and locks in good
