It does shake under accleration, but it will ocassionally shake at crusing speeds (75ish), but the vibration is mild, and getting on the gas for just a second (it gets increasingly violent), and then getting back off and drifting back down to the crusing speed seems to fix it? The vibration seems to be side-to-side too, btw.
I think I'll try it - what application do I need to get the axles for, I've forgotten, truthfully. If I recall correctly, just 94+ integra axles, right?

does sound like an axle problem.94+ Teg is the correct application.

I'm going to go get an alignment and get the wheels balanced/rotated before I worry about the axles - I'm actually hoping it's them being unbalanced than the axles.
However, like I said, I think it'd cause near constant vibration - especially at 100mph.

in my experience unbalanced tires do seem to vibrate a lot worse at certain speeds-and not necesarily the faster you go,the worse it is.the tires on my beater are pretty bad,and they only vibrate noticably within about a 20MPH window-go above or below that speed and it smoothes out.
but, throttle position doesn't affect the vibration, that's why i was leaning more towards a drivetrain issue like the axles.
maybe you'll get lucky though, and a tire balance will solve it.

Re: (92Lx)
I had the same problem on a VW. Turns out it was an inner CV joint that was defective. I had put on rebuilt half shafts when I bought the car because boots were ripped. One of them turned out to be no good. Finally broke. I was at my witts end. When it broke, I replaced what I had already replaced and the problem went away. Before the CV joint finally broke I had spent a lot of money on wheels and alignments. If it was fine before you replaced the half shaft a few months ago, you know it has to be the shaft.
Very aggravating to have vibration or shimmy, and so many things that can cause it!

back to one of your original questions..
you can usually tell the axles are gone by inspecting the rubber boots on the axles themselves. If the rubber boots are torn then replace them!!!
