Default shakes with no aparent cure

i swapped a b16a2 into my 98 hatch a while back. ever since the car shakes under load about 60mph. i have had it in various shops with no results. i just got it back from the suspension shop at my school and the did an alignment but it didnt help. i am told its possible that the motor isnt sitting right which may be causing this. and help i can get would be great. thanks alot

One of my buddys car shook really hard when accelerating. Found out it was the axels. Now my car shakes violently once it hit 60 mph.

don't forget motor mounts, worn bushings, or in an accident with the previous owner.

a worn out wheel bearing will shake at 60+.It starts when you apply the brakes and gets worse with time.

the clutch really doesn't have anything to do with it. can always double check bolts on the brake set up (but they should have found something when aligning). how where the bushings on the gas brakes?

sometimes tires get small bubbles on them which causes vibrations as well. how are your shocks? they too can cause this.

take sometime this weekend and re-check everything on your car and be thorough, that's the only way you're going to resolve this matter.

HAHA...i guess i was typing to fast, i was talking about the "bushings on the gsr brakes", not gas. that's funny though!

i feel its drivetrain related... but you can try lifting it loosining the mounts let it down settle, then tighten them back up. i dont think that is you issue though....

my cousins car does this, but it's his struts...they're shot. you said your suspension is all new. it sucks cause its such a broad issue. i imagine you tried rotating your tires? maybe you have a bent rim.

about the only thing i can think is to dyno run it and look at your cars parts when the run takes place. I think most dyno runs are $60 or less and you should be able to see whats causeing the shake. Im sure with all the other people you have sent it to charge $30 plus to check your car, so before you spend money on axles and other things that might not solve the problem take it to a dyno. Hell, maybe one of your wheel weights came off, no telling till its up to speed tho.

It could be a front lower control arm bushing that's worn.

try accelerating, and then when it starts vibrating really bad, let off the gas. If it goes away, then the problem is one or both of your inner CV joints. If there is any freeplay at all in those joints, it will cause very nasty severe vibrations under load.

Default shaking

it may be the most simplist problems, "not enough ground to your motor" this happened on one of my friends car. they spents thousands trying to get it fixed then we put more ground wires then BAM its fixed
