mine gets moisture in it all the time. never that bad though. check the seals around your doors. the hatch is a real common place for the car to leak also.

the ac evaporator sounds like it might be doing it also. its on the passenger side. check to see if that little tube is draining outside of the car and not in.

Ya, every now and then you'll need to push a hangar or something through your evap drain tubing to clear it out. Otherwise it gets stopped up and drains inside the car. I also recommend sticking a couple bars of Irish Spring under your seat to get rid of the mildew smell you'll probbaly get from this.

ok, silly question but does this happen when it's raining? My old DA used to leak rain into the pass. side footwell. The cause was the cowl (between windshield and hood) had a bad seal (it seals around the windshield). Water would leak in and drip through the fan housing. When I would switch from recirc to fresh air a waterfall would come wooshing in. Check that.

I have the same problem with my eg. Once I went through this car wash and it leaked like crazy on the passenger side. I don't have AC either. Also, in the rear it usually gets damp if it's been raining a lot.

I have a cracked windshield too and I have the same problem....I dont think the carpet is getting wet, but it'll get real frosty on the inside of the windows and sunroof. Coincidently, I opened my trunk to find that it was wet, not sure what happened there....

my windshield used to form ice on the inside also. i dont know why but most of the time its on the outside. sometimes none on the outside and its all on the inside. i still dont know why it did that. it might be due to humidity and ****

Ok, I will make this brief as I am at work. There was a service bulletin many moons ago regarding the welds in the older EG's 92-93 I believe. These welds break causing all kinds of leaks. I will see if I can find the bulletin and post it up.

Re: Serious wetness / moisture in my EG (ladysman)
it's probably evaporated water from the heater/AC. My friend had the same problem in his Durango.. and another friend of mine has the same problem in his DC teg. Also, just in case, check the seal for the ECU wiring.
I would also love to see this bulletin!

Pull off the black plastic roof trim. My buddy had this same problem on his two 5th gen hatches. He said it was leaking under the trim so he siliconed the body panels there.

Re: Serious wetness / moisture in my EG (nonsense)
its the cowl
This is normal for older gen hondas and tegs to go it.
What happens is there is a air mixture door there for your HVAC and water leaks down there and into the passenger foot well. The design was meant for water not to leak down from the cowl but as plastic ages it starts to leak into the cracks.
If it was coolant then your windows will be milky and the mildew will smell sweet. but as he mentioned before he doesnt have ac.

A long shot.
Do you still have your fender liners? There are a couple holes that should have grommets in them that go from where the ecu is to the fender area. Maby water could be getting in through one of those.
