Default Serious shudder front wheels

Alright so heres the issue. 98 Civic EX D16Y8. The past two days that i've come home from work, I get on the highway and start accelerating up to highway speed. Once I get to 60 mph the front end shudders so bad I cannot go over 60. Rough driving, steering, felt through the entire body of the car, especially in the steering wheel. Then after about a minute it goes away 99%. Drive my 20 miles home. No issues. Get up for work the next day, drive completely fine. Im stumped. I've checked out the front end. Tie rods dont move when shaken. sway bar links look shot and will be replaced. Other than that, any ideas on this? Seized caliper?

I have never heard of that. Can you bring a friend to video tape it and post it up on youtube.

I have no idea I am WAG, has anything been done to the car recently?

No recent work has been done. And this just started two nights ago. I may be able to have the girlfriend capture a video of it. If it decides to act up anyhow.

Any chance it was just the road you where on and then was you past the bad spot the car drove normal again?

I have replaced many bearings/tie rods/bent wheels/control arms/bushings/rack and pinon. I have never heard of what you describe though. Extreme vibration random once or twice and then never comes back.

Highway is freshly paved. Drive over it every day for 6 months now. Never felt anything like this before. When it doesnt vibrate to hell and back, the steering feels kind of loose. Pretty bad bumpsteer.

Get your car aligned, and get your tires balanced for starters.

The vibrations go away. I mean we are talking something like death wobbles as seen in this video

Although not necessarily as violent as that. Ive driven an F250 that did that and the Civic is not nearly as bad. Not sure if it actually looks like that from outside the car. And as far as I know it is not caused from going over bumpy roads.
