Default serious problem...

i just got my car back YESTERDAY from this race shop that installed my hondata, and 440 injectors, and it drove perfect last nite 3hrs straight, fine to work this morning, and on the way home it started knocking really loud, like a metal to metal sound....i took the valve cover off (it definately sounds like its coming from the top end) there are four hydraulic pumps that run along the top of the cam rack and one is stuck in the vertical position...would that cause my knocking sound?...how hard/expensive is it to replace that part?...and what else might be fucked now?( because i had to drive about 20 miles to get home with it like that) cause i don't want to drive it at all anymore, its super loud, and getting worse....PLEASE HELP!

i'd have it towed the race shop and have them look at it... perhaps what they installed might've cause this problem...

no, these parts are underneath the valve cover...the run along the top of the rocker assembly....there are four of them, and they assist in raising the risers in time with the turn of the cam from what i can tell by looking at it...

To me, it just seems that you have head failure, where a rocker arm, or maybe a valve and guide went, and you got damage to your head.
