Default sensors and idle

I have my swap near done, I have two codes. Crank sensor, and an o2 that i have to wire up. Now My idle sits a little high at like 1500k and stays there when cold. when it warms up it starts to kinda jump from 1600-1700 then down to 1500 and so on and so forth. Would the two sensors i mentiond be to blame for this heart murmer in my idle? and how the heck can i get the idle down (tried the throtle body adjustment, all the way down) any other methods of adjusting? (by the way its a 2000 b18b1 in a 2000 ek hatch) thanks in advance

Well your crank position sensor might be causing you to be off in timing. Possibly when the sensor goes bad maybe it makes the RPMs go up.

I don't see how it could run if the crank sensor were totally dead. The idle is probably effected by a temp sensor or the O2 sensor after it's warmed up. Also check the Throttle Position Sensor adjustment since the engine has recently been apart or installed.

Good luck,
