Are you talking about the e-brake strength adjuster, like how tight the e-brake will be if adjusted thingy? Because if you are, you really didn't make it clear, I think.

ohhhh no sorry!! i mean when i put new shoes on... i can adjust my ebrake and it will work fine until the shoes wear down far enough and they won't self adjust... like it won't push the shoes out the amount it needs to to compensate for what you have burned off. sorry it is kinda hard to explain!! i was wondering if i need to replace the springs inside of the drums, or am i just puttin the drums back together wrong after i change the shoes??

thanks

Try replacing the springs in there, they dont cost that much. more then likely is them.

When you change the shoes you should have also replaced the springs. It costs about $7 and its called return spring kit or something.
