Sedan Windshield Washer Reservoir fit EM1?
Ok so my car came without a windshield washer reservoir and I want one, so I'm on Majestic's site looking at the correct parts to order and I've come to a fork in the road... I have access to a brand new system for $20 but it's for a sedan, and on Majestics site it lists the sedan and coupe as having different part numbers, but on the sedans page it shows an additional Tank Set with the coupe's part number but only for 99's, if I look at 2000 it shows they are the same part number.. If these parts were interchangeable wouldn't they only have one part #, and not the sedan having two options in 99 and only one option for the 2000's..?
I'm leaning towards yes, I can use the sedan one in my EM1 and save $60-$70 but just a bit confused why the sedan has additional part numbers for certain years, and not the EM1..??
99' Sedan Part # 76840-S04-013 - http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...DSHIELD+WASHER
00' Sedan Part # 76840-S01-A02- http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...DSHIELD+WASHER
EM1 Part # 76840-S01-A02 - http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...DSHIELD+WASHER
I'm just trying to find out the difference in those two part #'s, and why one would work on both, and another only on the sedan..?? Could they still be identical, just given a different part # for the different years..? The system that I have access to for $20 is the one from the 99 sedan (Part # 76840-S04-013) so I'd hate to buy it and it not be the correct part..
Thanks

But isn't it just kind of strange that it's only different for the sedan from 99-00 and not the coupe..?? But the sedan lists the coupes tank set in both years.. Kinda strange to me, and I'm just not tryna waste $20, that's 2 days worth of Chipotle lol..!!

You're too wrapped up on the parts number thing. Its not the end all be all decision on what fits and what doesn't. Sometimes certain vehicles get cheaper parts and their part number thus sucks.

Yeah they only have the pumps, not the reservoirs.. I generally stick to OEM when it comes to stuff like too, just to save an unprecidented headache..

Even when it's OEM part #'s that I'm going by too..?? That'd be stoopid of them to have two identical parts with two different part #'s, but than again I wouldn't be surprised either..!

I have a Total Salvage, U-Pick, and LKQ all within 10 miles of my house, and combined they had about 10 civics, and you'd be lucky to get some 10mm bolts, maybe engine nuts and bolts, and some window glass.. Sometimes I hate Miami for this reason lol, the local stealership makes a killin off us folks who actually pay for OEM products..

You should get a truck and pull every imaginable part off the Civics here. You'd make a killing reselling.
I just pulled a complete 5G Civic Coupe Power Windows/Mirrors/Locks conversion. It was a US EX Coupe, which is extremely rare to find here in Canada. It was 99% untouched when I got to it and started pulling parts. When I went back the next week, NOTHING else was removed. Just to give you an idea.

Thanks!
Haha dude I'm definitely jealous right now..! The civics that roll into our salvage yards are already half picked at and by the end of the day they are stripped/gutted/raped lol.. I had to wait like 2 months just for a power mirror switch to come in on one haha, it's ridiculous..! And yeah sounds like I'd make some serious money, maybe a trip to Canada is in my near future..!
