Secondary O2 Sensor on OBD-2

Hey. Built a test pipe for my '00 Si and my secondary 02 sensor doesn't have a home now. Any ideas on how to keep my ECU from tripping code? Thanks for your help.

Some guys have ran a O2 emulator/simulator which basically tricks the ECU into thinking there is a perfectly fine O2 sensor attached.

just find a nut that fits the sensor, drill a hole in your test pipe and weld on the nut to it. then you will have a place for the sensor. i havn't tried this but this is what i am going to do when i make mine.

I wrapped mine in aluminum foil, and put it under the dash....works like a charm...no codes at all.

Do you know the wrench size for the O2? I need to replace my but I need to buy a wrench. the adjustable wrench keeps sliping. Thanks.

yes get the socket it is designed so that it will not mess up wires.. kinda hard to explain. looks like a real socket but cut open so the wires will not get in the way.. and get some good lubricant and breaker bar maybe to get the sucker out.. it can be a hassle

I'll try the foil/dash trick, see how that goes. Thanks.

Can you shed some info on where to get the Simulator?

Never use penetrating oil on an O2 sensor you are planing to reuse, it will kill a good sensor in no time.

I wouldn't do the foil thing. I think you have these 2 options - 1. get yourself either a jdm obd2 ecu or a obd1 ecu; both do not utilize the 2ndary o2 obviously...2. get yourself the emulator.
