seat help needed
my passenger side seat just decided to not slide forward when we pull the lever to let people get in the back today. it did this last time, turns out the wire that pulls on both sides to release the clamp was broken so i ghetto rigged that. but heres the new problem, i took the seat cover off and the wire that pulls the release broke off. you'll see what i mean by the pics.
heres the blurry seat, sorry about the quality. can't really tell anything in this pic.
heres the part that broke. has a small round metal piece that attaches to it.
here's the broken end with the metal piece.
and here's the good end.
now my question is, how do i reattach that metal wire to the round cylinder? anybody else have this break before? thanks

The same thing happened to me. I used a metal coat hanger, and I held the two ends (after bending them the same way as the stock wire is) with some little washers.
