Seat Base swap, from driver to passenger

Seat Base swap, from driver to passenger
I just bought a 96 civic with EG era SI seats in it. Can I unbolt the pan and foam as one piece from the driver side and swap it with the one on the passenger side? Im just talking about the bottom of the seat, not the rails not the hinges or reclining portion
The driver on is pretty shot and they look identical.

You can try. I'm not sure what benefit you will have with a passenger side seat on the driver side but it will require new hog clips, because bending them back and forth is just more work.

What benefit are you looking for? You can swap the seat foam padding with minimal modification but not the seat pans. I have done this on a set of seats were the drivers side was worn and in need of replacement.
