Searched: What size bolts hold the FRONT subframe in place on EG/DC?
I searched and also looked in my crappy manual, but received nothing of any importance regarding the front sub-frame.
I need to drop the front subframe from a DC2 at the junkyard to get to some stuff, but I don't want to show up unprepared again like I was yesterday.
I do not have an EG or a DC at my house to find out on, so if at all possible, I'd like somebody to tell me what size sockets I'll need to bring....The bolts look pretty big: Possibly 19mm or 20mm+
I'm a scrawny guy, so I can't carry around a bunch of tools for too long; I'd like to go in there with just a few wrenches, a ratchet and a couple of sockets.
TIA.

I think that they are 19mm. Make sure you bring some pipe or a big braker bar to brake those suckers loose.

Thank you very much.
They all appeared to be the same size, but I didn't really spend a lot of time looking because I was rushed.
I've got an assortment of breaker bars to use for junkyardin'

Re: (Jonathan_EH)
you will also need some tools to unbolt the steering collum/linkages too. and some of the hoses for the power steering. And the rear engine mount.
also the exhaust/shift linkages will be in the way. so tools for that.

Everything is already stripped off this car....the steering rack is bear, no exhaust..engine/mounts are gone.
All I need to do is physically remove the subframe. So hopefully all I'll need is the 19mm. I'll also bring with me a 20, 21, and 22 just to be safe, along with the standard 8mm-17mm sets.
Thanks again!
