yes it will come back
ive got a suggestion, put a new cat in. a clean cat dosent hurt your performance as much as you think. is all this hassle worth the 2hp gain?

I don't give a **** if it is a high flow cat, if you threw a code for it you might as well not have one at all. So why don't you shut up and maybe you will learn something.
******* moron.

yes it will come back, OBX high flow cats are nothing but a pipe with a tiny bit of cat materal around the outside, it will set the CEL every time.
as to what you should do.... it depends on how tight your state's inspection is. if they are as **** as Cali then you're hosed. Get a good high flow cat or an OEM cat and be done with it.
If they're less lax and only glance (if even that) to see if you have a cat. Then just pick up an O2 simulator, rip out the OBX POS and throw in a test pipe.
