Did you put it in the tank or performed a "hot soak" procedure?
If just in the tank, try the other way. I've learned this at a bmw techs board.
You suck seafoam in the workiung engine through the vacuum hose, then let the engine stend for a night and start it next morning, woooooooh.... Get it on the highway fast, it's, like new now.

Re: (biggentplayer)
1/3 in the gas tank
1/3 through the brake master cylinder
1/3 through the oil cap
Run it through the brake master cylinder first, being careful not to bog the car.
Add 1/3 of the bottle to the motor through the valvecover and go for a "spirited" drive.
Drain the oil, replace the oil filter/oil and spark plugs.
It helps get rid of all of the carbon deposits that build up on a motor from regular usage.

You can go a dealership, that is a BG chemical supplier, and have a BG Induction flush done. Its the same thing as seafoam except safer and more reliable. The only downside is the cost.

If it does, they can't do **** about it. What are they gonna say? "Son I pulled you over cause your car is smoking to much." As if there is a law on how much physical smoke a car puts out. As long as it passes the sniffer every couple years it doesn't matter what comes out of the tail pipe.
Anyways, Seafoam kick's *** in my book.
