i tried posting in the older seafoam forums but it kept on saying error. i just wanted to know how much of gas i should have if i was to pour 1/3 of seafoam into my gas tank?

1/2 of can in gas tank other 1/2 in crank case oh and do this on full tank i like to run my car around the block real quick
then do the oil change process!

Supposed to be 1/3 in crankcase, 1/3 in a vacuum line, and 1/3 in fuel tank. And with the fuel, I'd do it when you're almost empty, then fill it right up (just like any other fuel injector cleaner).

With the crankcase, change the oil immediately after driving it for a bit (I'd say 25-50 miles).

With the vacuum line, just make sure you let it sip it and don't just pour it down. And don't let the car die out. Sip, let the idle go back up, sip, let the idle go back up, etc. until it's all in. It's also easier to have someone else help you by pressing on the gas to prevent the car from dying.

That's what I do. Treat it like regular fuel injector cleaner. Not like sputtering-almost-empty-and-close-to-having-to-push-you-car-into-the-gas-station close. But yeah just near empty.

Not sure if it really matters but fuel injector is used that way so that's what I've always done.

does this stuff also clean the valvetrain as well when ran through the crank case or fuel injectors? i seen it takes care of pings and ticks and little noises. but really this stuff work?

It works, and yes it will help clear up the sludge/carbon that builds up (injectors, valves etc.) be prepared to have leaks if your motor is held up by carbon and sludge though
