Default Screwed up my car...

Alright, just got home from work, PLEASE help if you have any idea

long story short, I was on the highway and over my music I heard a loud pinging, but it wasnt like detonation, it was like metal hitting ****... so I had to make it home so I kept going, the car did one violent jerk, and i just kept going... second violent jerk (all the while that metal hitting sound is going) the whole car shuts down, and I roll into my parking spot (thank god)...

open the hood, there is no smoke, the belt on the cam gears doesnt look torn, I have oil, and all liquids are good...

its to dark to check anything right now, but can someone please explain WTF just happened?

thanks...

Well someone else on here had their mounts break. Take a flashlight and look under your car to see if anything is hitting.

He said it didn't drive at all, JDM. He said it broke down and he "rolled into his space." Read?

Ya, my car seemed slower, so you guys are saying that generally my car is screwed?

I am going to check to see if I can see any "holes", does this require pulling the head? or valve cover? or can I just look around from the top and see something?

take a flashlight and look all around ur block and mounts. look for gaping holes in the block or broken mounts. also, puddles of fluids.

may have blown a bearing or something as well. Had "similar" not exactly the same thing happen when I blew a bearing. (no violent thrusting but definatly some wierd bursts) and it just puttered out. Trying to re-start it afterwards made some loud screeching noises and hard chunking noises? Hope it helps..

Finally got the ***** to try to start it, and when I did, it actually started, and idled, but there was that LOUD *** metal pinging coming from inside the block, and I just turned it off. So you guys are saying whatever the damage is, it will probably require pulling the motor, and disassembling the block? if this is the case, then that BLOWS....

I doubt that this is a blown motor

It might be a rod. My bro had the same sort of symptoms with his car, had it checked out and the mechanic told him it was just his plugs, switched em out and the next day threw a rod through his engine...I deff. wouldnt drive your car and try and have it checked out ASAP, it could save your motor....
