Scratching lip.
I have a vis racing cf lip(spoon style) on my 99 ek. I never can find a way not to scratch my front lip when I am going out of a driving way or parking area. I can go up it easily but down it I always scratch. I scratched it bad one time and it popped my left side of my bumper off. I angle my car. What else can I do? yeah I know I will save up for a oem si lip. No money. college student......

Re: Scratching lip. (RsxType-Stitch)
My car is pretty low as well, low enough so that there is about a 1 1/2 finger gap between the tires and the fender wall (16" tires) so I know low. What I always do is get a wide angle, like get in the opposite lane (if there are no other cars or problems) when I'm coming out of a parking lot and angle it very much sideways if I'm making a right turn and opposite if I'm making a left. Try that it's worked for me for years.
