What is the deal with the lug nuts on the 2001 Civic HX I just bought new rims and am not having any luck putting them on I have gone through 2 sets of 12 x 1.25 both a set of tuners and a set of locking nuts. They all seem to be way too tight and they strip the lug shaft. Any ideas ??
PS they are not a 12x1.5 either

have you tried a 12X1.5?
both my mom and cousin drive 2002 civics (an lx and a dx) and they use 12X1.5... it's worth a shot by trying a set.

Yeah dude, you need to get some 12 X 1.5 size lugnuts.
