well this hatch i bought has a us b16a3 (del sol si) and it has a transmission called "s c 4" written on the transmission itself..the gears are short as hell and the guys says it has lsd so i have no idea whether it is the stock transmission or another one..thats not a big deal though.

i had another question...if i wanted to get a different computer for this motor, would i need a stock computer? or like a p30 or a p28 put on this del sol motor? what about a skunk2 ecu? could i put that on the computer i have right now and get the rev limiter removed and tune it?

you sure its not "S4C"? thats the stock tranny that comes with B16A equipped cars. it also has a few other labels that i dont know. it doesnt come with LSD in america, so either that guy put one in after he bought it, or you've been had.

if your car is OBDI you can plug a skunk2 ECU or any other reflashed unit onto the stock harness, if its OBDII you'll need to buy an adapter, they usually run between $60-$100.

EDIT: oops, you said B16A3, so you'll want to use a P28, or any OBDI reflashed unit.
