and...guess what? I liked it! The seats seem to have excellent support all around, and the inside is very well made. The shifter looks wierd, until you go to use it. It is in whats seems a perfect position for rapid changes from the steering wheel to the shifter.

So new Si in person:

Front body
Rear body
Interior

One sad thing about all the honda cars at the Chicago auto show. Everyone had the shift **** removed!

Yep, they had one in silver and one in that ugly gold/barf color available to sit in.

What I really wanted to sit in was the EVO 7......another sign that beast is coming here. Why else have a jspec evo 7 at the car show? It isn't a concept car or anything. Oh, and it looks much better in person, I would Definitly think about buying one.

I'm a honda nut too(my bio says what I have done to my car), but honda isn't really making much that excites me right now. I could go for the 02 si, but it is lacking about...ummm shall we say 40 hp, 1000 rpms, ground effects, etc. In other words, a CTR. Which I hear is coming in 2004.........

Maybe wait to see if they have fixed the tranny issues that the WRC version has been having this past season. The Evo 7 didn't do nearly as well as the Evo 6 did from the prvious year. But there is also the WRX Sti that may make a trip across the western poad too!!!
