Sanity Check: Steering Coupler
- I'm putting a DC2 TypeR Power Steering rack into my '92 EG6 SiR-II which is also power steering.
- The stock EG6 coupler seems to be too small of a diameter to fit on the TypeR pinion.
- I've got a DC2 coupler on order, but am trying to find the answer prior to the order shipping. (i.e. to save money)
Does anyone know, or can measure (micrometer), the diamter of both sides of the coupler from a Power Steering Integra (any model from years '94-'01)?
For my EG6, it's about ~.562 for both colomn and pinion. I need a coupler that is ~.562 on the colomn side but larger on the pinion side.
Thanks in advance.
