i was wondering do i really need this? cause i didn't get one, and not sure if i need one to get the motor BARD, i didn't get it from a shop, but from a private seller, and i bought it some time ago, and i dont have the guys number anymore, =/ he told me that everything was legit and NOT stolen, he even told me he had the police run the numbers and they came up clean, please shed some info on me, thank you. its a LS motor

I didnt need one. They checked it by the bar code stamp.

well not like a bar code you see on ceral boxes. Just the code under the engine code.

dont need one unless they ask for it, i wasnt asked for one when i bar'd my car.
