Default Is it safe to use VAFC-2 as vtec trigger?

I have a VAFC-2 and a D15B engine but my car is a 93 civic dx with a P06 so its not running vtec.I know that the VAFC-2 can be used to trigger vtec at pretty much any rpm I program so I was wondering if I could just connect the vtec solenoid directly to the VAFC-2 and use it to trigger vtec instead of getting a new computer...also I think the VAFC-2 can be used to change the fuel maps when it triggers vtec so I figure it would work. The only thing is I'm not sure what the other two wires on the solenoid do....I believe their oil pressure sensors but I'm not sure.

So I just want to know:
Is it possible to use the VAFC-2 to safely trigger vtec?
What are the other 2 wires on the solenoid for?
Where do I connect the other 2 wires on the solenoid?
Whats the vtm signal?
Whats the orange and light blue wire for?

Heres the wiring diagram for the VAFC-2

No its not safe or smart. Vtec isn't simply a noise. There is a separate fuel/timing map when vtec crosses over. It would work though

Different timing maps? Why does the timing need to change for vtec?Or are you saying the spark gets more powerful to burn the extra fuel? And like I said I'm pretty sure the VAFC-2 can be used to change the fuel maps whens vtec is activated so I dont think that would be a problem.

vtec=more air=more fuel=different fuel mapping

different cam profiles = different fuel and ignition requirements.
it's not as simple as pulling or putting in timing, it's dynamic across the entire map.
Not something the VAFC can do without causing other unintended operation.
(the VAFC fools the ECU into thinking that there is less vacuum to push in more fuel, this also changes the ignition since it follows the same signal -- ignition and fuel are not in the right place, knock knock knock goes the engine, till it goes klunk and you get to walk home)

VAFCs are laughed at when dealing with hondas for a reason, aftermarket "chip" style programming is dirt cheap and easy for pretty much anyone to use.
Heck you can buy a P28 and run that all day long on your setup. Cost you $100-125.
You can also pick up a P08 ECU, that's what the engine comes with. (~$125-150)
If you want to get fancy, have the VTEC circuitry added to your P06 and have the car tuned by someone local to you. (FL is no stranger to tuners) (price varies a lot)

half-assing this will cause serious regrets in your near future.

Yea I guess its just best to buy the ecu.But the VAFC-2 was givin to me so I figured I'd see if I could use it for vtec rather than having to buy a vtec ecu.I might just sell the VAFC-2 and buy an ecu with that money.Either that or I'll use it to show me engine stats...plus it looks cool

So if I buy a p28 or p08,would I have to buy a wire harness adapter or would The ecu connect right up and Id have to run the wires for vtec?

ECU just plugs right in, but yes you will need to run two wires plus a ground for vtec.
