Default Safe RPM range for n2o (nitrous)?

I want a full proof method for my kit.
I have a zex kit, which is WOT activated.
I also want to put in a RPM window switch, so I wouldn't accidentally activate it too soon or go overboard with it.
I was thinking 2000-6200rpm range
Currently set up for 65shot, but I might step it up to 75 later on.

I have a stock d16y7 engine block
A d16Y8 head, which has a valve job, aftermarket camshaft, minor porting and is milled.
I also have some bolton's like an intake, adjustable fuel psi regulator, adjustable cam-gear, full 2.25" exhaust, msd 6A, and lots and lots of blue wire loom.

dood...all those blue hose covers are ugly ***...

nitrous is safe under any conditions, after 3,000 rpms and no more than 15 seconds of spray unless you want a good xcuse to but a new motor.

for every 100' of wire loom used you gain 50HP. You've got at least an extra 150HP extra there just in loom.
Sorry but you were kinda askign for it posting that pic.

I know! Type R badges add like 10hp each, too, so I'll be getting a bunch of those too! ha ha ha.

I’m not asking for anyone’s opinion about the blue color, for each is it’s own. It’s my car and I happen to like it, to there.
Do you think I really care what other people say about my car? Just look at my name.

As for the RWS, should I get it set at 3000-6500 RPM range?

how much is the head milled? do you know the compression ratio on your motor after the mill? I would look into that before you start spraying...

It's not much.
The compression should be some where between a stock D16Y7 and a stock D16Y8.

2000 rpm is way to low

id go 4000, since air velocity is high at this rate, anywhere under 4K rpm i wouldnt do it for risk of runnin lean...and id cut off a couple seconds before redline and no more 10 sec at a time

3200-6200rpm then?

Safe enough to start, and around 500rpm before redline, right?

i say 3800 then 800 before redline.

800 just to be safe. but doesnt powerban kick in at about 3800? thats where i would put the beginning of the window or start of the spray then end it 800 before whatever you redline at.

but thats just IMO

well, atleast you can see where all the hoses are at in night time. I used to have the kit in my 92 Sentra. i had it set to 3G-6500rpm 75shot and i was using it in every gear since it was a 4speed. Even first gear. But dont use it in the freeway. That's all i got to say.

i spray when ever im at full throttle. thats how my kit (zex dry) is setup. i flip the switch when i line up and then flip it down when im done. so it sprays when ever im at full throttle.

ya thats how it works. the box reads off of ur TPS sensor. just dont shoot the nitrous in full throttle while standing still. Like i would launch at 2500 and drop the clutch and go.
