which mount usually wears out the fastest , the drivers side? i know you can put the inserts and not change the mount but how safe is it and how long would it last like that? do they say you can use them on worn mounts because the urethane insert goes in place of the rubber? please help

I would get new ones if you can afford them

you could have more wheel hop if your mounts are worn...

if my mounts are worn and i put on the inserts, i hear that it makes everything solid. so it is kinda like gettin a new motor mount with urethane?

Okay, since I've actually DONE this I'll chime in...

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=339020

It's fine. You don't need new mounts.

Three of the four rubber bits on my left lower mount were totally torn. The right mount was really weak and loose. The ES mount fills in all the airspace between the little rubbery bits between the frame of the mount and the mounting shafty bit from the engine.

There is a little more vibration than there used to be, but it's fine. I doubt there is any more wheelhop now than there would be if I did new stock mounts + ES inserts.

It would be pointless to get new stock ones.
