S2000 Sidemarker install (need help)
I purchased some S2000 amber sidemarkers today and I need somebody to give me some help on installing them. They don't come with the actuall lights or wires to hook them up so if anybody can give me a list of what I will need and what I need to do to get them installed please let me know.
Thanks for everybody's help!
BTW I have a 92' CX Hatchback (comes with no side molding to take off)

Re: S2000 Sidemarker install (Infamous_Imports)
To clarify things I don't want to mount it above where the side moldings go I want to mount it WHERE the side moldings go in the front 1/4 panel.

I personally don't like the way that looks, but whatever floats your boat. If anything, mounting it where the sidemolding goes with be easier than having to measure out the mounting location. Anyway, go get a Dremel. This is a necessary tool for doing this installation. If the S2000 sidemarker matches the pattern in the link that I sent you then you can still use that pattern to mark off the area you want to install it. It takes some concentration and patience because, like he says in his website, you can always take metal off but you can't put it back on.
You will still need to go up to a Honda shop to find the bulb harnesses to fit those sidemarkers. I don't know what the part number is, but just take the sidemarkers up there and ask them.

Thanks alot since you seem to be the only one who is willing to at least attempt to help me. Since you live in the Atlanta area maybe you'll see me around one day! Oh and BTW there's an elelctrician (sp) who works at my p/t job and he told me what to do about the lights.

I used the metal nibblers from radio shack to put in my ctr sidemarkers. I think it's a little easier than using a dremal, it doesnt slip around and go crazy on ya.

Once you get them in, tap the green wire going to your current turn signals. NOT the red wire. The red wire will just keep the sidemarkers constantly on which looks kinda ghetto, IMHO. The green wire is what supplies the "blink, blink."
