damn so i guess this is a no go in an EG .. i got the 3 bolt thing working doh
Why would this not work in an EG/ Honda uses the same seat bottom for almost all their seats. That is why you can just swap rails to get Teg/sol/ek/eg seats in all of the previous mentioned cars. This how to should apply to all civics/tegs/del sols, no problem. If you have any questions let me know. Later

i did the passenger side seat in my 95 coupe or EG and it worked fine.. just follow the directions, not difficult at all, just takes time.. i dont know if i want to do the driver side yet cause the seat is higher then i would want it i think..

dunno why you can't see the pics, anyone else have this problem? If you don't want to sit lower i don't know if you should purchase these seats. They are extremely low at first but after you change the rails it does raise them up slightly but you are still low.

Awesome how-2. One question......do you know if the del Sol seats share the same "metal seat part" that you swapped out? I'm looking into new seating in my del Sol and the S2000 swap looks very nice. Any ideas if I can swap the del Sol seat internals with the S2000 to make it 4 point mounting?

Cheers, and total kudos!

sup man, i see you are from college station, well I'm here in BCS too going to A&M, if you wanna check out how these seats feel before you buy them or just want some more info you can come out to the meet tonight at Oreily's on Texas accross from walmart and you can sit in them or ask me any questions you want. I drive a silver 2000 civic, dropped rims, yadda yadda. Well on to your question, the del sols do share the same seat bottom, so this could also be done but if i was you, i would sell the sol seats cause people love sol seats, get some junker civic seats and then do the mod. You could sell your sols if they are in good condition for a good 2-300 subtract that from 800 (going rate for s2000 seats now) and you got them for 500 bucks then buy some junk stocker civic seats, 20-50 bucks and then you got it made. later

Cool, but only thing I don't like is that you have to use the civic base, it's levers, and plastice pieces. I don't think they match up very well. Any other way to put these in without doing this. How about removing the little pieces of the Civic rail that the mounting bolt goes through and weld it on to the S2000 rails? Is the lenght and width of the rails the same?

sorry to bring this back from the dead but I stumbled upon it and am amazed as I've been searching for this exact info....you say all civic pans are the same?? so I can get a junker seat out of a 4g or 5g civic for the time being to drive around on while I do this?? like it will bolt in place too?? also, this gives you FULL motion on the s2000 seats?? forward backward action?? tilt apprently?? as for driver's seat mine is the same as the passenger seat (I have no little ***** I can see?) so mine should be straight forward right??

Do you think this is the same concept for RSX seats. I am in Houston and trying something different. Too many peeps have S2k. They still are clean as hell...

thanks in advance.

Damn this was very well done. I'd have to go find a set of s2k seats now. Been wanting those seats for awhile. Very helpful for me.
