I know that someone has done this before however the archive search doesn't work.

You need the wiring diagrams for the S2k and the Civic, and some creativity in getting that sucker to fit.

I remember posts about this.
the tach would work but the speedometer would not. something about a different way of working.

you can mount being creative and the wiring will be a snap if you had both the s2000 and ek shop manuels but the speedo will not work, because the speedo is analog, there might be a way to make it work with a vss from a s2000, but just being creative and having lots of money will help.

the VSS is only a little spinny thing for lack of a better word, the cluster should interpret the signal and produces the output.

This may sound stupid, but I'd think that if you can get everything to fit, you could maybe lose the digital speedo and cut out a hole for an analog gauge in there. O.K. maybe losing some of the coolness of the swap, but it might make everything work easier.

this is off topic..but it does deal with cluster and gauges. if i had a EX cluster in a DX, can i put GSR gauges into it? i think i said that right. i am planning on a b18c swap so i want the RPM and such as the same.. i cant explain

the integra cluster will fit into civics but its not plug and play,...i have a LS cluster in my civic,...do a search,..there are tons of threads about this topic

thanks for the replies.... I am pretty sure the S2000 VSS unit that you can get the speedo to work...
I am just looking for the guy who did the swap to chime in...

If you have the full wiring from the engine to the cluster for an s2k I dont see why it wouldnt work. I can see why it doesnt work with just have the wiring from the firewall to the cluster because the ecu wont read that digital ****.
