Re: s2000 civic hatch
wouldn't you need some interesting connections for the steering, brakes, all that stuff seeing as the engine is designed for rwd rather than fwd?

Re: s2000 civic hatch (TurboTagTeam)

Or would it. It all depends on what you have available.
HOwever, some comments have made me think about this.
Since the F20 can bolt up to the K20 Tranny with some modifications......can a K20 bolt up to a F20 tranny with some modifications as well?
<---wants to see a K24-R bolted into a S2000.
Or a K24-R RWD Civic Coupe.

Are you sure about that? Last I heard prototype racing was developing something to make that work, but they ended up not doing it.

i think prototyperacing did make a one-off version of a custom bell housing that cost $7500-$15,000 for just the bell housing...alot more customization would be needed to mount the motor & wire it up maybe they didn't ever complete it...I dunno for sure

Re: s2000 civic hatch (smelldaOdaa)
props for being different I guess, but what a waste of time and effort - an h22 swap would be far more practical and deffinitely for the same amount spent anyway, far faster ....
