Default rusty bolts

i'm trying to replace my oil pan gasket but i can't get the two bolts that are holding my exhaust up. they are rusted so bad that penitrating oil wont even help. if anyone knows anyother way besides torching them off let me know.

Well, if there is no hope for breaking them loose, then yes I would torch them or use a die grinder and cut them off. On my D-series I didn't even have that bracket on, but if you want to use it you can always buy a new one or get one at the junkyard.

i torqued on mine real hard and ended up snapping them in half, you might want to try just breaking them first

Are you using the penetrating catalyst "PB Blaster"? It is far superior to any other rust-buster. Soak the threads with this; drive for a few days; repeat application; drive. Then try to break them free, using a 5-foot or so pipe extension if needed and a good-fitting socket.

This works i have done it MANY times. Heat them up till they glow red then spray them with pb blaster. then use a impact and take them off.
