Running low on funds ????
Yeah like i said running low on cash, im looking to swap an engine into my 92 civic hb, well i want a b18c1, but might have to settle for a jdm b16. Should i get the jdm engine, or wait a while to get the gsr ?? I am also planning to turbo whichever engine i get and i dont know that much about the jdm b16, would this be a good swap over the gsr with a turbo??

If your low on funds and want a motor swap w/turbo.... then go with the B18A. I've said it before and I'll say it again B18A w/turbo is the set up that leaves you with the most options down the road. You simply cant argue this! 1. B18a/b is cheaper then both B16a and B18c. 2. its more displacement then B16 and the same as a b18C but cost about $2200 less. 3. To get a B16 to 1.8 displacement you need a stroker.. which is at least $1200. 4. Less compression on the B18 means the better your turbo will run. 5. Vtec option is still available as a ls/vtec.
i know alot of people will tell you go B18C or B16 but believe me...for the money you cant beat this set up.
