Default running lean

ok.. ima flat out say ima NOOOOOOB. Im drivin a 97 civic EX with ingen intake, magnaflow exhaust, and probably soon to be DC header. A guy at my work says that my car is lean and i need to adjust my fuel. He tells me that he just hooks his bike to a laptop and he can adjust everything but he doesnt know how it works with hondas. What can i do to fix this? I've looked at the Apexi V-AFC and other stuff but im lost as to what can actually help me? would this vtec controller work or is there a chip i can get for my ECU? Orrrr is there really not much i can do?

Default Re: running lean (chubbyfire)

his bike has a programable ecu, your honda does not. You could tune using uberdata or a vafc. how the hell does he know that your running lean? He hook up your car to a wideband? I wouldn't worry about it unless you are very interested in spending money for some performance. Uberdata is cheap, but dyno time is not.
